Make sure to place all food and anything with an odor inside the container. This includes: soap, deodorant, insect repellant, sunscreen and toothpaste. Place the BearVault at least 100 yards downwind from camp. Find a shady place if possible to keep the contents cool. NEVER KEEP FOOD IN YOUR TENT!
